- Active member of AA for 25 years.
- Proud Father: Jeremy Dorland and Mark Dorland Jr. of Manteca, California.
- Grandfather of Six: Jessalynn 17, Clayton 13, Madison 13, Kyle 11, Tiffany 8, and Brooke Dorland 4.
Mark has enjoyed fishing with his sons, grandchildren and friends, any chance he'd get. He spent alot of his time traveling to Manteca to visit his sons, grandchildren and sister Chris in Stockton, Ca. He always made time to see his grandchildren participate in their sports and school activities. He enjoyed traveling on his Harley, traveled to Sturgis twice and to his childhood home of Lapeer, Michigan once.
Mark is known as a hero to many, a great man who would do anything, give anything, to help anyone, even if it put him out. Anyone that knows him would tell you this. Many refer to him as a teddy bear, he'd greet anyone with a hug from the moment he met you, and always ended conversations to his children, grandchildren and many others with I Love You. He is missed and loved by so many.
